CSNZ Athlete Sponsorship Program
The Christian Surfers Athlete Sponsorship Program supports two of our best surfers per year. One male and one female.
Through our global network we aim to support our athletes with financial assistance, crowd-funding, and hospitality. Athletes must meet specific requirements both in and out of the water to be eligible for this sponsorship.
Caleb Cutmore is our first test pilot for this program. Caleb, a rising star from Raglan, New Zealand, has set his sights on the WSL qualifying series. He has been involved with Christian Surfers Aotearoa for many years, always quick to lend a hand at events, compete in our comps, and serve as a local leader. Caleb is a dedicated follower of Christ, embodying the spirit of excellence and faith both on and off the waves. He is just a downright good dude.

Financial Support

Hospitality Support
Athletes can connect with the hospitality network for free accommodation during events or travels. The network may also assist with food and transportation as feasible.
Reporting
Sponsored athletes are encouraged to share their journey through the Christian Surfers community, fostering transparency and engagement. Regular updates on social media platforms are encouraged.
Criteria
This sponsorship program aims to build a supportive community, blending faith and surfing, while empowering athletes to pursue excellence in both aspects of their lives.
Athlete sponsorships are subject to periodic evaluations, considering the athlete's continued faith engagement, contribution to the community, and achievements in surfing. Renewal is contingent on meeting these criteria.
