Mission Fiji - pics now up During May 2008 members of Christian Surfers New Zealand spent 10 days in Fiji serving the Fijian Surfing Association (FSA) and local communities. A team of 10 set off from around NZ and the world, with members of Christian Surfers from Taranaki, Raglan, Welllington, Whakatane, Titahi Bay , Cambridge , Australia , USA , and Portugal . While they were a diverse group they made a great team and arrived on the Coral Coast of Fiji full of energy and enthusiasm - not just for the great surf, which they got plenty of, but also for the local Fijian surfers. 2008 Easter Camp Review Hot weather, light winds and solid swells set the scene for an awesome 08’ Surffest at Taras this year – reports say it was the hottest Easter seen around the country in ten years. Not only did we score solid point breaks all weekend but everyone was stoked (including the grommies) with Back Beach and Oakura producing the goods too. [full write up and photos].
